The Top Three Anti-Inflammatories

There are 3 foods that are so powerful in relieving arthritis pain and inflammation that they should be included in every persons diet. Eating enough of these anti-inflammatory foods can help you heal and even reverse the symptoms of arthritis as well as remove the cause of the inflammation. Including these foods to your diet will not only help you relieve arthritis but even a myriad of other diseases and conditions.

They are so powerful that many drug companies don’t want you to know about the, although they are regularly available and inexpensive too. You can get them naturally if you eat the right foods, or in a natural supplement that includes them, like Provailen. They are typically associated with a Mediterranean diet, but are readily available in the western world as well. You can add them to meals or take extracts as supplements, depending on how fast you need relief from inflammation or pain. Here are the top 3:

  1. Turmeric
  2. Omega 3 Fatty
  3. High Alkaline Producing Foods and Drinks

This plant is native to India and has been used successfully for thousands of years. Indian Ayurvedic Doctors and Traditional Chinese Doctors used this natural anti-inflammatory food to treat arthritis, bursitis, inflammation, pain, digestive problems and even blood pressure. The active ingredient is called curcumin and is found in many traditional Indian dishes, particularly curry.  It’s what gives the curry it’s yellow color. The more color a natural food or spice has, usually the more antioxidant and nutritional value as well!

Turmeric must be taken with bioperine (black pepper) to be bio-available or absorbable by the body!

It is so effective that major pharmaceutical companies are vying to get a patent on it.  They have been trying to mimic it’s effects for decades, mostly unsuccessfully and with major side effects.  Curcumin is natural, inexpensive and can be included in soups, rice and vegetable dishes as well as to season meats and fish.  You can start by adding it as a spice to many of your dishes or you can even buy capsules if the flavor is too strong for you.  Start by taking a 400-600mg capsule up to 3 times a day. For anti-inflammatory relief make sure the formula you get contains Bioperine (necessary for absorption) and also DLPA (DL-Phenyalanine) for natural pain relief.

A great all in one turmeric formula that includes a natural cox-2 inhibitor with pain relief is Turmeric Curcumin.

Omega 3 Oils

I’m sure you’ve heard of these powerful oils (fatty acids) by now.  Their benefits are so overwhelming that most people should include them into their diets as much as they can, even young healthy people can reap huge benefits from them. Traditional western diets are high in Omega 6 oils, which lead to inflammation in the body. Omega 3 oils are the exact opposite, they stop inflammation. We don’t get enough in our diets typically and that is why it is good to make sure we are adding them.  Let’s look at a few of their many benefits:

  • Naturally Elevates Your Mood
  • Decreases Inflammation in All Tissues
  • Improves blood sugar
  • Increases Energy and Decreases Appetite
  • Improves Cardiovascular Health
  • Natural Arthritis Pain Relief
  • Improves Skin Conditions
  • Increases Mental Alertness
  • Reduces Fatigue
  • Promotes Healthy Fat Loss

I’m sure you can see how adding Omega 3 Oils (fatty acids) to your diet can markedly improve your overall health, particularly ease arthritis pain and inflammation.  There are many sources of natural Omega 3 oils.  I will list a few good sources in the order of importance to your diet:

You can eat salmon, tuna, mackerel, flax seeds or hemp seeds a few times a week to get the benefits of natural Omega 3 oils.  If you do not like to eat fish or seeds, then you can get capsules and take 1 gram per day of these oils and quench your inflammation naturally!

Herbs That Stop Chronic Inflammation

Here are some specific herbs that are great at reducing chronic inflammation:

You can take these herbs and natural supplements individually or in combination (Marquee Mobility).

Alkaline Foods

These are primarily your organic vegetables.  Particularly the green ones, that include plenty of chlorophyll and are highly alkaline.  Acid foods promote inflammation and pain in our joints.  Alkaline foods and drinks quench that pain and inflammation.  Add a squeeze of lemon or lime to your water first thing in the morning. Although lemon is acidic in it’s natural state, it becomes alkaline in our bodies and has a very positive effect on your inflammation as well as our digestion. Drinking highly alkaline Ionized Water is a way to rapidly quench acidic inflammation in our bodies. Here are some good alkaline foods to include in your daily meals:

  • Alkaline Water (Alkalizes all body tissues and sends acid loving pathogens fleeing)
  • Lemon (and citrus fruits, squeeze some into your water or drink – It is acidic, but our bodies instantly convert it into a highly alkaline substance)
  • Celery (Eating this will cause your body to actually lose weight. More energy is required to digest this than the calories you take in eating it)
  • Almonds (Take some of these almond packs to go and munch freely. You can even spread organic almond butter or an organic mixed nut butter (organic is good if you can find it, as the pesticides highly are acidic) on celery to make a highly alkaline and healthy cleansing natural food combination)
  • Green leafy veggies (include as many as you can into your daily meals) or Get a nutribullet and make green juices instead.

Try including some raw vegetables into your daily diet in a way that tastes good to you, so you will be inclined to eat them regularly. The more you do this, the more most all diseases will lessen in severity and may even outright disappear.  Include some tasty and healthy snacks like celery with almond butter to your daily routine. Celery and almonds are alkalizing on our body and add healthy oils and are satisfying as well.

If you are experiencing a lot of pain, then you might want to add 400mg of Sam-e. It is a natural joint pain reliever, liver regenerator and mood elevator. You can feel the effects usually after your first dose! Make sure you are also drinking highly filtered (no tap) water that is highly alkaline as it stops the acids that cause painful inflammation!
